Tom spent twenty years as an executive in a major steel corporation, followed by 16 years in private law practice in Michigan City. He is extremely proud of his experience. Tom has worked tirelessly to hear and resolve difficult interpersonal conflicts without resorting to litigation.

Tom’s experience outside of government will bring a fresh perspective to the bench. Most of the Judges and judicial candidates in LaPorte County come from the ranks of prosecuting attorneys.
